This is my 1/72 scale Italeri F-5F from VF-126 out of Miramar. This is a great kit if you want something to build that you can put unique camouflages on. I did add the True Details F-5 ejection seats to it to spice up the cockpit. Besides the seats the kit was built out of the box.

The markings are from Super Scale international; the canopy underneath was cut from solid black sheet.

The paint used was Testors Model Master. I started with the lightest color then worked my way to the darkest letting the paint dry every night before applying the mask and the next color. All of the paint was scale affected.

Once the plane was glossed using Crystal Cote. Decaled. After a second gloss the kit was then flatted using Polly-Scale Flat, which is the only flat worth using, my opinion. I then went back and spot painted the fuselage to take the newness from the plane just like the Navy.
