For some time now I was planning to build one JRV (Jugoslovansko ratno vazduhoplovstvo) Mig 21. I decided to do the first, F13 version, in a NMF scheme. Building it was an easy and fun thing to do.  The Revell kit is the best on the market for this version of the plane. The only one problem was mounting the glass parts, which don't fit well with plastic. You can solve all the problems by leaving the canopy open.

The model was painted with Alclad II metal paints. Basic color is White Aluminium.  Darker parts of the fuselage and wings were made by adding a small amount of black enamel to the Alclad colour. Decals are from three different sets. Roundels are from Lift Here set I 500-72 LH, numbers are from Mića dekali set for Mig 21 and the stencils are from the decals that were in original Revell box. Weathering was made with black acrilic dust.

Hope you enjoy!
