Hello from Norway! This is my first submission to ARC. I think it's a great page!! Thanks Steve! Now to the kit, it builds up to a very nice Viper indeed! I built the kit straight OOB (added some details in the wheel wells though).

I'm a novice modeler and this is my second model kit ever, so I can say that I'm pleased with the outcome even though I don't have much experience. It was certainly a steep learning curve! The only problems I encountered was the wing joints and the fit of the intake front lip, but nothing that some putty and sanding cant fix! The model is brush painted since I don't have an airbrush. The colors are built up by several leaf thin layers so that the details still was visible. I hope to soon purchase an airbrush. The model was then weathered very lightly with an oil color wash and Tamiya weathering system some places.

I think that the Viper is great looking plane and I will certainly be building several more, maybe I should try the Tamiya kit!

Next time I will build a Norwegian viper. For the keen eyed you can see that I don't have AoA sensors, well I scratch built covers with RBF tags after these pictures were taken. Btw the RBF tags are homemade as is the covers over the Aim-9L seeker heads. Thanks for watching. If you would like to comment or ask a question you can e-mail me.
