Because the Flanker is my favorite airplane, I always hope to build it nicely since I started to make the scale aircraft model.   Recently I finished building my Flanker and I'd like post it here.

Although the overall quality of Academy's Flanker is good, a basic cockpit and a short nose cone are shortcomings of this kit. In order to compensate for these weaknesses, I used a cockpit detail set from Aires and a nose cone and a pitot tube from Quickboost.  The effect of these aftermarket set is very good.  I selected the impressive cobra mouth marking from Lindenhill decal.  After applying the decals, I sprayed thinned light grey enamel to tone down the original color.  I weathered the model with pastel chalks slightly.
