Republic P-47D-30 Thunderbolt flow by Capt. Lowell Brueland 355th Fighter Squadron, 354 FG, Rosieres-en-Haye, France, December 1944.
Capt. Brueland finished the war 12.5 kills and added two more in the Korean War.

I used almost all shades of Alclad available followed a couple of coats of Future for the decals application, then another coat of future followed by grey oil wash on the bare metal parts and dark green oil on the olive drab. All was sealed with Vallejo satin 522. The light blue on the cowling was my own mix, as the exact color is not know.

Decals came from Lifelike “Republic P-47D Thunderbolt Part 5” code48-014.
I added brake lines and engine wires. Eduard PE Zoom set FE240 for the cockpit and die-cut mask EX010 from the same brand.

My best.
