The Trumpeter F-14D Tomcat has been a long lengthy build for with some of the issues that come with this kit, but what kit does not come with some form of issue.

I build this kit pretty much straight out of the box minus the Aires GE-110 Nozzles, Steel Beach “D” extra parts, Wolfpack Designs SJU-17a seats, Fightertown Decals VF-31(FTD 32-012).  I used a combination of both Model Master Enamels, Tamiya Acrylics, Humbrol Enamels, and Polyscale Train Enamel Paints.   Out of all the options on sheet I decided to go with Felix 101 OIF II CAG jet.

I highly recommend this model, granted it has a lot of those rivets and the issue with the intake trunks, an the engines have a lot of seems which I also highly recommend the Aires Nozzles for the build.
