Here is my 133rd Phantom. This one has EVERYTHING!!! I received the special addition kit from a local modeler here in town. The build got all the metal stuff and rubber tires of course. But also included in the kit was a (unknown company) set of resin intakes. They fit the early addition 1/48 raised panel line kit well. Except at the bottoms which required some inventive use of putty.  From my stash I added a Eduard photo etch set, True details wheels and ejection seats and Eagle Strike decals.

This model was built for the Centennial of naval aviation group build.  CVW-8 (of course) VF-142 Ghostriders on CV-66 USS America back in 1974.

Nice simple paint job with minimal weathering, in some photos you can see the little 1/72 scale model this 1/48 guy is replacing. The old one is going to Tony's place, hopefully they can make use of it over there.
