Silly Week 2011

This is Revell's 1/25 2008 Ford Mustang "Bullitt" edition.  The Bullitt Mustang is a special edition production of the standard Ford Mustang GT and features an upgraded engine, tweaked suspension, and unique interior trim package.  Exterior-wise, all the scoops and spoilers have been deleted, base model grill without the running horse logo installed, and comes finished in Highland Green Pearl Metallic (to resemble the iconic 1968 Mustang GT 390 from the movie from which this edition is named), as well as black.  The Bullitt rides on unique five-spoke Dark Argent Gray rims with matching brake calipers.

Revell's 2008 Bullitt Mustang is a modified reissue of the 2005 Mustang GT and feature all the parts unique to its 1:1 counterpart.  Additions to my model include C-pillar window louvers, lower profile tires from an AMT Toyota Supra kit, and flocking for the carpeted sections of the interior.  The finish is Model Master British Green Metallic (not exactly correct, but it's what I had on hand), while the interior is satin black with Tamiya Deck Tan accents.  I also added photo-etched CD half to the CD player and some photo-reduced CD cases.  As a final personal touch, a photo-reduced version of my license plate and photo-etched plate frame were used.
