Hi every body. This is my Airfix 1/72 Spitfire PR XIX.  This is a lovely Airfix new tooling kit.  Recesed panel lines, and good detail in the cockpit and landing gear wheel wells.  I built it straight from the box, like I was a kid, with Airfix and Matchbox....

The first coat  was painted airbrushing with Gunze Aqueous, and panel lines weathered with graphite pencil.  Then I applied another coat of paint, with some blue and white clearing the center of each panel.

Some future and decals. Decals went on right, but there is some problem with very small white filets round of them. Quality is good, but it would be better to use another with no small filets.

Another coat of future. Some gray oils with turpentine, and a final coat of varnish by Titan Opal (This is a very good product from Spain, with a satin finish very good, controllable with turpentine if you want more or less bright).

I recommend it very seriously.  Lovely kit.
Hurricane Mk II and new Bae Hawk duck nose are waiting for me.
I hope you like it.
Happy new year
