This "Legacy Hornet" is one of the original trainers that I had the opportunity to photograph extensively when it was brought to our Calgary Stampede 3 1/2 years ago.
It looked fairly tired then and I believe it is now in storage, since it was never upgraded.
Dozens of names have adorned the cockpit sill, but I left them off since I didn't want it attached to any one pilot.
This weary bird taught many Canadian pilots to fly the Hornet, so it belongs to no one.

……as well as many scratch built parts and details. Over 9 months of work, I created a build thread here on ARC and had many CF-18 experts help me with all the subtle details unique to Canadian Hornets. For that I truly thank them and you will see many of their suggestions in this build, based upon the 1/32 F/A-18D Academy kit. I hope you enjoy the
pics….
Enjoy the photos.
