This is my recently
completed Hawker Hunter by Revell. It was almost finished a couple of years ago,
but it suffered a fall from the work bench. I was so gutted, it was put to one
side in a carrier bag while I sulked. I (re)built it almost OOB with the only
additions being some extra detail to the ejection seat.

I sprayed the kit with
Humbrol enamels, although I substituted the silver on the undersides for
grey as the silver seems to be wrong (according to various
articles). My
decals showed the white base under the decals, so I obtained a new set from
Revell, which were fine. The kit is finished in the markings of an FGA 9
No45 SQN RAF Wittering in 1975. The airframe was lightly weathered with
pastels and oil paint and sealed under a good coat of Humbrol mattcote.
This is a great kit
of a great aircraft. I was really pleased with the result (twice), and the
restoration only took a week.
Thanks for looking.
