Emil Koch reached Jasta 32b by the end of December 1917.  Previously he served in Jasta 12 and FEA 2b.  He became commander of Jasta 32b in July 1918.  He scored seven confirmed victories until his injury.  He was wounded on a ground attack mission. After his recovery he was send back to FEA 2b. But the war ended before he got more victories.

The scene should play in late October 1918, shortly before Koch´s wound.  At this time of the year 1918 the weather was very bad and the battlefield was very muddy from the heavy rain.  I've tried to replicate the mud and puddles in the diorama.

Although the kit is already excellent, I've added some selfmade details and improved some others.  I added the engine ignition a few little things on the carburetor and the intake manifold.  The pipes got some homemade nuts and rivets are added to the fuel tank. I made turnbuckles from Q-tips and 0,1mm copper wire.

The 08/15 machine guns are from Master and the pilot and mechanic from Model Cellar.
