India Republic Day

This Humbrol kit even though being old was well detailed, though the very sparse cockpit was a let down.

I have built it OOB very little putty was used. Mr.Surfacer was used as primer , Model Master Acrylic paints were used and Lifecolor Matt Varnish.

The decals were used from the box. Even though there is a bit of controversy whether this marking was used by the RIAF from what I have been able to gather from drawings available online. This particular aircraft is said to be based at Imphal, Assam flown by the No1 Sqn RIAF ,1944.

Controversy apart I loved building this Kit & Hope you liked it.

Happy Indian Republic Day "Jai Hind"
