The kit I present to you is just a nice kit .... of the F-100C in the Trumpeter 1/48 scale. Months ago I was surfing the internet or stumbled upon some photos of F-100C/D/F former Turkish air force, imported into the United-States where .... and then took part in museums or as some specimen was put back in flying condition by Tracor flight System.

I should state that I have added the cockpit, the exhaust resin  from Aires and I decided to open some access doors in the fuselage and I rebuilt the inside of the fuselage. I had a bit of difficulty to accommodate the drain, but for the rest of the assembly flew by very quickly.

Arriving at the painting, I painted everything with the Model-Master aluminum Metalizer  and polished after all.  I applied the Maskol with a sponge where I wanted to create chipped paint.

After scoring the camouflage colors Gunze, I removed all the Maskol and trying to achieve realistic chipped paint, and applying the decals, all cut one by one, to remove the transparent board that would have caused the annoying silvering! A light wash with gouache, and are passed to make the paint "burned" in the part of the fuselage near the engine exhaust. Without this I mounted the carts and the canopy and the job is finished.
