I heard great things about this kit when it first came out so I bought one and it sat in the stash until earlier this year. I have to agree, it is a wonderful kit with near perfect fit.

This was my first attempt at using Alclad 2 lacquers. I didn't polish the primer enough so I had to strip and repaint to get rid of the grainy effect. I finally got it the way I wanted and now I'm sold on Alclad 2. The only issue I had with the kit was the decals. They were very difficult to get to lay down and I had several of the 100+ stencils fall off. I reattached them with Future and that kept them in place. Once complete the kit and decals were over-sprayed with Alclad's semi-matte sealer. Weathering was kept very minimal and only included some light panel line washes and silver pencil work.

If you haven't built one, you should treat yourself to this excellent fitting kit.
