Here's yet another of my little ground attack dioramas. This one is very simple with a pair of S-model British Crusaders being bombed by an FW190.

The Revell kit seems basically quite good apart from a miserable canopy: unclear, thin, brittle and somewhat undersized - too much like the similar component in the same company's
P-51C kit I made some time ago. Finish was by brushed Tamiya acrylics except for the green mottle which I find works better by brush using tubed acrylics applied sparingly. Weathering was a liberal coat of tubed acrylic wash in grey to give a faded, drab appearance.
Actually, while I'm in ranting mode I must just add a comment about Revell's packaging especially of their smaller aircraft kits: Horrible! A small end-opening box with the contents seemingly squashed in. Compared to Hobbyboss products (one of which I bought at the same time) the impression is truly awful. Revel should ramp their game up here I reckon.
