History
Out of the single-engine Ju 52 / 1m, the three-engine variant Ju 52 / 3m was built at the push of the German Lufthansa. During the production period from 1932 to 1952 a total of 4,845 pieces were produced. The first machines were designed for use in civil transport. As early as 1933, Junkers received the order for 450 auxiliary bombers in the military service. It became the standard transport aircraft of the
Luftwaffe.

The model
The Tante Ju represents a g5e of the 1st / Combat Group for Special Use (KgzbV) 172, stationed in Tripoli in 1942. Built from the Eduard kit and upgraded with parts
from Eduard. Additionally the roof hatch was opened and detailed.
