Here are some photos of my 1/144 Eduard Spitfire Mk.IX in captured German markings.

During WWII the Luftwaffe had a special squadron called the "Zirkus Rosarius" set up to test captured aircraft.  This Spitfire is powered by it's Rolls Royce engine but there were other aircraft powered by German engines.  The bright yellow underside was to avoid this aircraft being mistaken for enemy aircraft and shot down.

The markings are from JBr Decals and further detailing was done using a Brengun vacuformed canopy and resin cockpit set from Retrowings.

The wheelbays were corrected to an aluminum color after the pictures were taken.
