1/48 Tamiya and ICM Spitfire Vb and IXc

Built two Spitfires for a customer. One the Tamiya Mk Vb in 401 RCAF colours circa 1943. The other the ICM Spitfire Mk.IXc in 421 colours 1944. The ICM is very very simular to the Tamiya but with more parts and a very nice engine which can be displayed.

The ICM has rough painted D-day stripes as I am not a big believer of the decals showing EXACT perfect straight lines. In real life a lot of those marking were applied using mops. The customer also wanted me to make this one a beer delivery truck. Something commonly done near the end of the war.

Enjoy the photos.
