History in brief:

The F-15E started as a private initiative that soon interested the USAF.  the first F-15E was made starting from an improved F-15D which made it's first flight in 1982.

The USAF evaluation included the F-16XL and F-15E and the F-15E was chosen.

With great capacity in all the areas, a good one number of the E models are today in service with the USAF.  The Israeli Air force is among a tiny number of foreign air Forces that fly the F-15 and a version of the F-15E was done for Israel, but until today, it only exists as prototype.

Assembly:

This was considered one of the best models in the world, being highly detailed and with necessary accessories. I built it basically out of the box and I chose to do in one of the attack versions.

Painting:

I did in the painting that came to be done that is Gunship Gray (FS 36118) that is used so much in several airplanes by several air forces in the world.
