This is Revell’s 1/72 Fiat G-91R in Tigermeet markings.

The kit was built OOB, apart from the ejector rings which I built from wire.  The kit required a lot of putty along the fuselage joint, intake (very difficult to sand), wing fences, pylons and the nose gun cover. You will have to scratchbuild the port wing pitot.  Positioning the wheelbay is a bit tricky.  Looking at the pictures of the real plane, the pylons position on the kit seem to be too forward. Rather than trying to take them off the wing, I just cut the pylons short

Humbrol’s insignia yellow was used for the upper fuselage.  On a second look after it was completed, maybe it is a bit too bright

Decals come from the kit.  (in fact, there are only 1 scheme in the kit; the Portuguese Gina in Tigermeet scheme).  The tiger head decals on the nose section are the most difficult ones to apply.  I took 2 nights to apply both decals, with a lot of help from Microsol.  (I spent 5 nights applying all the decals !).  The tiger strips are provided as decal.  However, most of them are undersized. I ended doing a lot of touching up with flat black enamels, and then brushed some Future once the black paint has cured.  God bless the inventor of Future, since this magic item concealed not only brushmarks, but also blend the paint-decal border.

Another addition to my “Tiger” planes.

Cheers,

Iwan
