The model depicts a Royal Australian Air Force Boeing BBJ 737 VIP aircraft. The conversion was based on the Heller Boeing 707 for the airframe and the Heller Boeing C135FR for the engines. Since a number of models are required, for the VIP version and the Wedgetail AWACS version of the BBJ, the kit conversion components were used as patterns for a limited run complete resin kit. With careful planning the conversion, although requiring a fair amount of cut and paste, was quite straight forward and presented no difficulties.
