The
Boeing AH-64 Apache is one of the
Israeli air force main core fighters named "paten" meaning Elapidae
snake. When it was decided to develop a new schema for the Apache fleet some
"patens" where painted in an experimental schemes. Eventually the
brown, cream and gray schemes was adopted.
Now
this desert bird looks different from the usual all green apache.

I
added the excellent new Isracast conversion kit for the Israeli AH64 and used
the Isradecal sheet no 23. The Isracast conversion consists of all the RWR
antennas and chaff dispensers added to the Paten, also get two external fuel
tanks.
Painting
was done with Humbrol colors and weathering was done with Pastels.
