This is the latest version of
the Academy CH46 Sea Knight in 1/48th scale. This kit is basic as for the previous kits
with a few minor parts not used. Model was made straight out of the box using no
filler or after kit accessories.

My model is painted
using the reference colors as stated in instructions apart from the blue which
they state FS 15044.......I used FS 35044. The rest of the paint is the usual
naval 3 tone grey. Using flat spray varnish for body then a coat of future and
applying decals to main body then a coat of flat varnish again to tone it down.
I then the coated the windshield with future, applied decals, then another coat of future after
that to get gloss finish.
The decals are a little bit tricky around the windshield stars which are all separate, so
you have to apply them one at a time, otherwise I recommend this kit very much
and was a pleasure making it just about one week.
