1/48 Italeri F-15E Strike Eagle

Hello, as you can see, this is a unusual 1/48 F-15E. This kit is not the best F-15E maybe is the worst on this scale.  The Cockpit doesn`t exist, the kit only came with decals.  I don`t understand why the latest models from Italeri don't come with an accurate instrument panel, cockpit and ejection seats, just like Revell, Academy or Hasegawa. The Exhaust nozzles have a poor detail too.

I bought this kit for 2 reasons: first one I have a curiosity about this model, the second reason: I have a 1/48 F-15E Revell Monogram, before to build this kit I want to build another 1/48 F-15E, just for practice. And It was really a great practice for building an F-15E.

So, I built this one just Out of Box, but I used the decals from Revell Monogram Pro modeler, some from TwoBobs and others from the kit, also I used the GBU-15 provided for the F-15E RM.

For Paint I used the model master gunship gray, and the decal set Solvent from Model master too.

To make this kit better I put a lot of Putty in all seams, after all this I hope you enjoy this pictures. Soon my F-15E from Revell Monogram in 1/48; probably in Tiger Meet markings.

If this kit will come with a better Cockpit and great exhaust nozzles, it will be a option for an accurate F-15E. The decals come incomplete and with the stencil markings for F-15A or F-15C.
