This was my first attempt at scratchbuilding. I wanted to design a very maneuverable craft, intended for low level ambush tactics primarily against soft to medium armored targets. I got a little inspiration from the AH1 and other attack choppers but it was mostly a conceptual design.

I started out with the cockpit and main fuselage, using sheet styrene and printed templates from the drawing I had done on AutoCAD.

After that I made the detailed parts (Engines/mechanics) using bits and pieces from anything I could find. Raided a lot of electronics and old kits...

The final step was painting, decaling and weathering (liked this part the most). I had intended the craft to be in pretty bad shape, so this worked out quite nicely...
