Here's 9 photos
of my latest model. This is the Tamiya P-47D that I converted to a TP-47G built
by Republic with a P-47G from Curtiss.

To make this
two-seater, I have duplicated the Tamiya cockpit parts in resin, used 2
Ultracast seats and Eduard photoetched parts for instruments panels. I
improved it with Eduard set, Vector engine and scratchbuilt wheels wells.
I finished the model
with Humbrol paints, Klir, and Eagle colors semi-gloss varnish. The decals are
from Aeromaster (number), Eagle Strike (stars and bars) and kit (stencils).
Markings are one of the two TP-47G built in late 1944. As it was a brand new
aircraft, I make only little weathering.
