My
friends gave me this kit for my birthday. The model is molded crisply and builds
up well for its age. The worst part was getting the intakes to fit. I expended a
huge amount of effort, filler, and sandpaper during that phase of the project.

I
scratch-built the seatbelts and the rearview mirrors. The model was completely
brushpainted as I don't own an airbrush. I used a bit of artistic license for
the colors of the speedbrake and the installation of the vertical stabilizer
counterweights and rear sensors (which the real F-15J does not carry).
Weathering
using thinned enamel paint was kept to a bare minimum. Hope you like it!
