Hi scale modeling friends! This is my second contribution on ARC and I just want to share my first painting two-tones camouflage experience. This is my Italian Air Force F-104S built from Italeri kit, just a little hard to build but very nice however.

This work allowed me to win a first prize on a contest in 1/72 category for the first time which was organized by the GHME or Grupo de Historia y Modelismo Ecuatoriano (Ecuatorian Group of History and Scale Modeling).

The story about this work is very nice since I only have two years using some techniques on scale modeling, then I have been supported by my cousin who is an experienced scale model builder. I learned by him that the research and patience are the best allied for a builder because these ones help on repairing some fails watching the details and getting a better finish on the model, the goal for a model builder.

The kit was grey-primed, the belly features some metalizer shades according to pics found on Internet. The top side was painted using Tamiya shades: Neutral Grey and Drak Green 2. Some weathering was added using black pastel chalks.
