This is the 1/48 Revell Skyraider, it is a reissue of the old Monogram kit.  If you put in some effort, you can build it in a nice looking model.  I built this model as a quick in between model to test some Micro-scale products, Micro Set and Sol, and Kristal Clear.  Next to that I used Humbrol Paints and some brushes.

The model is modelled after an aircraft of VA-145 Swordsmen.  When it was stationed with CVW-10 on the USS Intrepid on Yankee Station in the Gulf of Tonkin September 1967.  I used a sharp knife to cut of the wings at the wingfold.  I also put every weapon on the hard points that where in the kit.
