Here’s the Kit on the not finished base.

Actually this kit seemed like it was cursed! It’s my second kit since I started model building again and it wasn’t the nicest kit to build. I got it from ebay and noticed upon opening the box that there was something weird with the shape of some of the plastic parts. Actually after a closer look I saw that the parts must have been exposed to a heat source.  They were very close to be melted.  After some “thinking” I decided I would give the kit a go and use it to experiment new techniques on camouflage painting and weathering.  The kit was very close to make a one way trip to the bin, but I kind of finished it anyway.

I won’t go into the history of this kit as it’s probably well known by everybody.  As I said it was a pain to build but I was able to “test” the things I wanted to test.  The lower part of the kit was totally bend and most of the wheel bay parts were missing.  You can find more details about the encountered Problems on my webpage.
