I think, for
me, this has to be the best looking fighter of WWII. I
have three 32nd scale Doras, here are two of them.
Yellow fifteen
is the Hasegawa release and black six is the Revell boxing with the broad
chord tail fin option.
They both have
replacement cockpits, and the flaps are replaced by the awesome etched
ones from Eduard.
The real
appeal, apart from the look of this aeroplane, is the late war camouflage
schemes with the mismatched panels and bare metal panels that give this
aircraft such a look of desperation.

This kit just
falls together.
The parts are
beautifully detailed and the clever engineering of the tail means that the
fit of the alternative tails are seamless.
The extra
parts I used were to enhance the kit, although a fantastic job can be achieved
from an out of box build.
As I said, I
have three of them in my collection, but some more will be added.
