Everyone needs a fan or two, and I finally found mine!  It's by Doyushu, and it's likely one of the strangest models I've come across.  I saw it on Ebay one day, and I had to have it!  Why?  I ask myself that a lot, but it's just different.  A guy who had grown up in Japan has told me it's an exact copy (albeit smaller) of a Toshiba fan his family had when he was a kid, so I'd guess it's accurate.  It is battery powered and the fan actually runs!  It gives off a slight breeze, and if I lived where it got hot, it would be an asset.

I entered it in the local contest, but neglected to have them create an "Household Appliances" category before the show.  I'd have gotten a gold medal for sure then, but alas, I did not.  Oh well, at least I kept my cool...
