Attached are several photo’s of the Hasegawa Bf 109E-4/7 kit I recently built.  This aircraft was built completely out of the box except for photo-etched seat belts from Eduard.

Gunze acrylics were used for final paint.  Desert/Trops have always been a favorite of mine with their distinctive RLM 78 & 79 schemes.  Painting was done freehand with my Iwata airbrush, pre-shading the entire aircraft with gloss black before applying RLM 78 to the undersides of the wings and fuselage sides.  RLM 79 was then applied to the tops of the wings and for the demarcation along the fuselage.  To give her a nice weathered appearance I then began to add several drops of flat white into my base coat of RLM 79, lightening the centers of each panel and repeating the process several times by adding slightly more white to my base coat.  When finished, I sealed off my paintjob with several light coats of Future, applied the MSAP custom decals and then sealed again with a few coats of Future before washing the panel lines.  A few coats of dull/flat coat were then used to finish her off.
