The French Air Force is planning to buy and refurbish 2 or 3 old Concorde and transform them as AWACS.  The deal is to have "high speed" AWACS to be used with the Rafale entering in service now.  The couple Concorde/Rafale, flying at the same high speed, is supposed to improve the value of the system.
