Hi all, here is another adversary bird from Topgun.

This is a Hasegawa 1/72 kit boxed with the decals for the all gloss black 'topgun' scheme. This model was built about 8 years ago.  I chose to have an attempt at for what was at the time a complex scheme for me. I had at the time a very basic airbrush hence I had to rely solely on masking in order to get the patterns out. Hence there was alot of paper cutouts and Blutac (in Australia we call it blu tac) to hold it in place.  Given all that, I was quite pleased with the results!

The model wears a 3 tone desert scheme which is fictitious and loosely resembles some of the NSAWC schemes,  I had decided it was probably too ambitious at the time to attempt a 3 tone camo with just masks whilst also adhering to an actual scheme.

The model was built completely out of the box and the quality was up to the usual Hasegawa standards, all parts were perfectly aligned and there were no issues at all.

I hope you guys enjoy the hornet, if you're in to adversary jets, please check out my F-5Es on ARC, I hope to bring you more adversary F-5E, F-5Fs and A-4s as well as F-16s very soon!
