This is the JB Models 1/72 scale Bedford MK truck.  It is a very reasonably priced kit, and also available in a tanker version.  A Landrover vehicle is also part of the range.  It makes a useful addition to an airfield diorama.  The kit was built almost straight from the box, with the addition of a few bits of styrene (mostly in the chassis where you can't see them). The mudguards where thinned a little bit.  The model was brush painted with Humbrol enamels.
