This is a fun kit to snap together and paint, especially if you are a fan of the classic 1953 "War of the Worlds" film by George Pal, based and faithful to the H.G. Wells novel from 1898. Took about a weekend and a day of gluing, painting, drying and placement. This is Pegasus Hobbies new 1/144 scale battle scene from the opening of the Martian attack on Earth.

Everything was painted with Tamiya Acrylic paint except for the "death ray" and other windows on the ships which were painted with Gunze Sangyo Flourescent Orange. 

A great way to relax from serious projects and relive a great movie!
