History
The Bf 110 served with success in the early rounds of the war, during the Polish, Norwegian and French Campaigns. The Bf 110s lack of agility in the air was its primary weakness. This flaw was exposed during the Battle of Britain, when some Bf 110 equipped units were withdrawn from the battle after very heavy losses and redeployed as night-fighters, a role to which the aircraft was well suited. The Bf 110 enjoyed a successful period following the defeat over Britain as air superiority fighter and strike aircraft. During the Balkans Campaign, North African Campaign and the Eastern Front it rendered valuable ground support to the German Army as a potent fighter-bomber, (JagdBomber-Jabo). Later in the war it was changed further to night fighter operations, and it became the major night fighter type of the Luftwaffe. Most of the German night-fighter aces flew the Bf 110 at some point during their combat careers.
My model display a BF-110 C-4 from 3. ZG. 26 (Zerstoerergeschwader) operating in France 1940 during the battle of Britain.

Model Description
The Kit is a very old model from Revell/America ca. 1960. The cockpit inside was rebuilt like the pilot – seat and the gunner-seat. After I added new instrument consoles and a new gunner MG, seatbelts etc. The colours comes from Lifecolor (Italy). I used Future for the transparent parts having a very real glass effect. I spent more or less 2 months to build this model but the result of this old kit is great.

I hope you like this aircraft. For any questions do not hesitate to contact me.
Greetings from Florence, Italy
