When I first heard about Dangerboy Hobbies wing folds I was intrigued.  I've always loved adding more detail to a kit and the idea of taking on a complicated wingfold conversion had me interested.  Boy was I in for a surprise when I visit their website.  No complicated cutting.....no fiddlely bits.....just a whole new resin wing comprising of  8 simple pieces.  What a concept....easy wing fold conversion that requires very little skill or effort to add to a kit.  Ahhhh, but what about the beautiful surface detail of the original kit wings?  After all, this is an Accurate Miniatures Avenger kit and the detail is perfect.  Well these resin wings were mastered by Michael Bragg using the Accurate Miniatures wings, so all the detail is replicated in resin.  It is obvious Dangerboy Hobbies has mastered the fine art of resin casting with no bubbles.  The surface of these wings are as smooth and perfect as the original perfect Accurate Miniatures wings.  There are a few tiny areas at mold seams that need a tiny bit of filling, but the areas have no surface detail and will prove to be very easy to fill....we're talking VERY VERY minor filling here that is hardly worth mentioning, but I mentioned it for the nit picky types.  Another nice touch is all the pieces are packed in bubble wrap to protect them from harm.....my set was safe and undamaged due to this excellent packing job.  I gladly bought a set at full retail and I look forward to using it on my Accurate Miniatures Avenger kit in the future.  Dangerboy Hobbies was kind enough to supply a second set free of charge for a contest right here on ARC.
