DHC-2 Beaver Selection (Part
2)
Product # 7208
Review by Steve Bamford
This is another
selection of decals in 1/72 scale covering the Beaver that flew for various
countries in Antarctica as well as Alaska. It's no surprise that these Canadian built aircraft were
able to adapt in the polar climate.... afterall....if these
planes can conquer the Canadian wilderness and climate, then they would be well
suited to the harsh climatic conditions of the North and South Pole regions. This
just released decal sheet remembers one of the mainstay aircraft types of the
Antarctic and Arctic. Included in this decal sheet are markings for 11 different
Beavers from 5 different countries. Three of the 11 Beavers on
this decal sheet have wheels and six of the Beavers have skis and two of the
Beavers come with floats.
The quality of the
decals is very clear and in register.....in other words....you will be quite
satisfied with the high quality of the decals.
I would like to
thanks Max
Decals for the review sample...time to build myself a colourful Beaver I
think.
