Master modeler Michael Kirchoff has once again produced a stunning cockpit detail set. This set contains 35 perfectly cast resin pieces. The seats on this set are a thing of beauty....between the flawless casting and the delicate ribbon appearance of the seatbelts.....well I'm sorry, but there are very few people out there that could ever dream of matching Michael Kirchoff's level of detail. And to even consider comparing these seats side by side with the injection molded Hasegawa seats....I shudder at the thought. It is truly daunting how nice this set is. It is up to the typical best of the best standards that Black Box is well known for. Below you'll see the major components of the detail set in close-up detail photos...the detail on this set is very crisp and flawless. The only 2 things that are of any mild concern on this set......and these are hardly points to stop anyone from buying this set. The front and rear instrument panels are molded onto a larger somewhat thing piece of resin that will require careful work to remove them from the resin backing piece. And the cockpit tubs do not fit perfectly in the fuselage....some sanding will be required, but this is pointed out in the instruction sheet and will hardly be much of a problem. The instruction sheet is easy to make out and very well drawn and with some good painting instructions for the seats as well.
