This is the cockpit set for everyone's favorite "Jug"...the D version. There are 19 almost perfectly cast parts that make up this set. The masters were created by ACME. I would say the highlight of this set is the seat and it's seatbelts. As you will see by the photos below...the seatbelts are typical Black Box craftsmanship. The seat itself has an air bubble hole in the center of the seat bottom, but fortunately this is not in any detail, so it can be filled. But filling it without not harming any of the seat belt detail all around this air bubble hole will require a decent bit of patience and skill. The rest of the set is also quite well done. The instrument panel looks perfectly done even when blown up to this huge size as seen below. The gauges are all very accurately placed in the center of the bezels, which is no easy thing. The control stick even has a button with a tiny wire molded onto it. The cockpit side wall detail is crisp and delicate (with wires no less) and a definite improvement over the Hasegawa side wall detail. All the rest of the set looks good and should go together without much effort. All in all a very nice little set that seems to cover all the areas of this cockpit that could use a bit more detail.
