1/72 Hasegawa weapons set #6

Hasegawa makes many aircraft model kits, but one sad surprise when you open their jet kits is the lack of ordnance.  Hasegawa instead prefers to sell the ordnance separately in ordnance kits.  As you can see by the picture above of the boxart....there is plenty of "stores" in this one box.

This set covers US laser guided bombs, included are tree GBU-16 Paveway II, six GBU-10 Paveway II, nine GBU-12 Paveway II, tree GBU-24 Paveway III, tree TER, six F-14 bomb rack and parts to convert a GBU-10 into a AGM-123 Skipper.

All the weapons are on tree similar sprues, their are also tree similar decal sheets. The instructions tel that all bombs have to be painted olive drab, these aren’t the richt colors but after a litle research you will notice that the center of the bombs are grey in the navy and that their is a red line between the front wings of every bomb. The decals can be used. Included with the insruction sheet is a table for the external stores of a F/A-18 and a table of which bombs can be used on which aircraft.

GBU 12 GBU 24

The plastic is very good, like we are used with Hasegawa, resessed panel lines and verry sharp molded. But you have to watch out for not hanging to match LBG on your kit....two maximum.
