--------------------

This latest sheet from Two Bobs is for the Alaskan Gamecocks F-15's.  Alaska has always been the front line for the USAF from the days of WW2 against the Japanese and all through the Cold War.

This decal sheet includes 3 different Alaskan F-15's of 19th Fighter Squadron.  All three planes are 2 tone low viz grey.

The first plane has white outlines for some of the markings.

The second and third plane have low viz markings without the white outline.

One special feature of these planes is the airbrake artwork.  The Two Bobs were able to get this artwork correct with the help of their sources up in Alaska.

In typical style...the Two Bobs have gone the extra mile and included decals for the artwork on the engine intake covers.

Included in this decal sheet are stencils for 2 of the 3 planes featured.

The second page of the instruction sheets (see image directly to the right) includes a picture of a new feature.....a Joint Helmet Mounted Cuing System (JHMCS).  This system is a standard HGU-55 helmet that has been modified by Boeing to allow the pilot to slew the aircraft weapons sensors to wherever he is looking.  True off-boresight targeting capability  is now possible when used in conjunction with the AIM-9X.

The instruction sheets are very clear and answered all my questions about paint colours and decal placement.  As usual the instruction sheets include paint code #'s for 4 different brands of paint.

All in all a very nice decal sheet that is highly recommended for anyone wanting to build an Alaskan F-15C from the 19th Fighter Squadron.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
