Siam
Scale is a decal company based in in Bangkok and their decals focus
mostly on Air Forces of the Far East, but they also do decals for
aircraft of other Air Forces....such as Israel. This 1/48 decal
sheet features 3 different versions of markings for two different F-5's
with the Royal Thailand Air Force.
There are enough stencils included to build 2 of
the 3 planes featured on this decal sheet.
Aircraft #1
is a F-5 plane #23101 finished in a green/green/tan paint scheme. Markings are colourful and
include a leaping Tiger noseart with red text that reads "The
Oldest Tiger" on the side of the forward fuselage. On the
tail is more attractively done text that reads "30 Years of 38438
The First F-5B in the World TIGER"
Aircraft #2
is a F-5 plane #70101
finished in a green/green/tan paint scheme. Markings are colourful and
include a leaping Tiger noseart with red text that reads "The
Oldest Tiger" on the side of the forward fuselage. On the
tail is more attractively done text that reads "30 Years of 38438
The First F-5B in the World TIGER"
Aircraft #3
is a F-5 plane #70101
finished in a grey/grey paint scheme. This is the same plane as
the above aircraft, but without the special colourful anniversary
markings.
The instruction sheet
includes very well done and complete black and white line drawings showing
stencil and decal placement.

Colours
mentioned on the instruction sheet are for the Aquieous Hobby Color brand
of paints.
All
in all a nice set of decals of the Royal Thai Air Force F-5B's and I
recommend these to anyone wanting to add a Royal Thai Air Force F-5B to
their display case.
I'd like to thank Siam
Scale Decals for
sending me this review sample.
