--------------------

The T-38 is probably one of the most recognizable aggressor aircraft that the US military has ever flown.  Not only did the USAF use them but the US Navy did as well.  They were also used as pilot training aircraft for Lead In Fighter Training (LIFT) during the 1980s'.

This Twobobs sheet is kind of nostalgic in nature since it takes us back in time to when Twobobs first hit the scene with their aggressor aircraft sheets.  Three aircraft are represented on this sheet.

A/C 23632 is painted in the "Grape" scheme and is representative of a 64th FWS jet from Nellis AFB, circa August 1975.

A/C 13168 is painted in the "Snake" scheme and is from the same squadron and the same time frame.

A/C 88138 is not a true aggressor aircraft, but is a LIFT jet from Holloman AFB.  These A/C were painted in an aggressor style camo scheme and this particular aircraft sports a unique piece of artwork on the intake that reads "City of Alamogordo" which is the town right outside Holloman AFB.

The Holloman LIFT jet is in fact an AT-38B and has some modifications that are super easy to do for you modelers that would like to model this particular jet.  There is some verbage on the instruction sheet that talks to these mods.

There are enough markings on this sheet to build three complete jets.  References were provided by noted aviation author Don Logan and Kevin Wheeler.  The Twobobs let Don pick the jets he wanted to do for this sheet.  The Grape and Snake scheme were two of his favorites.

The decals are printed by Microscale and are very clearly printed.  The Twobobs did their homework and have made certain decals 2 part decals to ensure perfect registration in some cases and in other cases they went the two decal route to ensure the decals colours covered properly and weren't washed out by underlying colours.  I quite like all the jets on this decal sheet....they are all stunningly attractive.  This sheet is highly recommended for anyone into Aggressor and aggressor looking jets.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
