This new softcover book from HT Model Magazine is specifically devoted to the Mi-24 Hind. This is a soft cover book made from heavy weight glossy magazine paper, so it will hold up well to continued use. The cover....(although a soft cover) is made from thick glossy paper and will hold together well. The book is produced in Slovakia, so it is written in the local language and comes with an insert in English, but the true joy and value of this book is it's detailed walkaround photos. So...what do you get? Quite a bit. This reference book is devoted to photos of the Mi-24 Hind as used by the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. And what a selection of photos......over 260 glossy detail photos. There are also 35 beautifully done colour profiles of various Slovak Hinds......I've included one colour profile below to give you a feel. The photos in this book focus on all the detail areas that modellers are obsessed with. Lots of cockpit photos.....photos of the engines with all the engine cowlings opened up......photos of various weapons systems. As well as photos of the landing gear, open maintenance panels, rotor head and tail rotor, interior, exterior, and on and on. |

The 35 colour profiles are single side views with a 4 view drawing at the back of the book to give you an idea of the total camo pattern. Below I've include a tiny selection of some of the pages....out of respect to the producers of this fine book, I am not providing larger scans.

I'm quite impressed with the quality of this new book
and I look forward to other editions from this company. I recommend this book to anyone interested in the Mi-24 Hind and especially modellers looking for more reference photos. I am quite pleased to add this book to my library.....it will prove to be a very helpful book on future Mi-24 models. Special thanks to the folks at HT Model Magazine for the review sample and bringing this book to my attention. All HT Model publications can be
