This decal sheet from Leading Edge Models provides a full set of markings in 1/72 scale for one Province of Newfoundland Fire Bombers.  The Province of Newfoundland is one of the small Maritime Provinces on the east coast of Canada (small in size.....but big in heart).  As with the rest of Caanda....much of the forest fighting includes water bombers.  Because these are fire bombers....the paint schemes are quite bright to help the aircraft 'stand out' while flying it's dangerous missions and to aid in search and rescue missions if this fire bomber was to ever crash....which is always a very real possibility for water bombers.

This aircraft has a special paint scheme of overall orange on the top side with white stripes on the main wings and tail.  The white stripes are provided as decals.  The side of the fuselage is gloss dark green, but this is done with decals. The underside of the fuselage Gloss Gull Gray FS#16440.  One the side of the fuselage below the wing area is the words "Province Of Newfoundland" and a large #282 on the side of the fuselage below the cockpit.  The top side of one of the wings has the number 282 in white and on the underside of this wing are the id letters C-FAYN. This yet another very Canadian decal sheet of an aircraft that has proven to be critical to life in Canada.  The decals are very complete and beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets.  One very complete page of B&W instructions is included covering all the tiny special details you'll need to avoid any problems while applying these decals as well as 4 view black and white drawings as well as 4 view colour images (see above).

The decals are contained on 2 decal sheets.  The printing quality and colours and registration is all first rate and up to Leading Edge Models top class quality.  This is a very recommended decal sheet for anyone that likes building the Canadian aircraft or people with an interest in fire bombers or flying boats.

Special thanks to Dave at Leading Edge Models for the review samples.
