| Here's a quick run-down of Eagle Strike's "F-14 Basic Lo-Viz Stencils" sheet. | ||

This sheet contains full stencil data for the F-14 Tomcat, and provides enough decals to finish two Tomcats. Included in the stencil data are national insignia, walkaways, intake warning stripes, various 'NO STEP' stencils, ejection seat triangles and various warning markings, as well as slime lights for the fuselage and wingtips. All of the stencils, including the small text, are clearly printed. Of course, many squadrons customize their stencils and warning placards, so as always, check your references before applying stencil data. The full color instruction sheet includes placement instructions, color guides, and three-view color illustrations of both aircraft. |

No
specific color or weathering recommendations are provided with the
instructions, because this sheet is a generic sheet providing stencils for
most Tomcat squadrons. You'll notice that the national insignia are
provided in two colors as well. One nitpick that I had is that the
painting guide on the instructions call for Dark Gull Gray, and seem to
indicate it as the topside color of the aircraft. The actual TPS
color for the topside color should be Medium Gray in most cases, and the
only place where you'd see Dark Gull Gray would be inside the cockpit.
As always, for every rule there is an exception, so again, check your
references before painting.
The sheet retails for
